Kevin Prins (Excelling Leaders, YWAM) has worked with training, coaching, and encouraging leaders and missionaries for decades. He and his wife, Sue, have been Michawana Family Campers for the past several years. We are excited to welcome them to encourage and train up parents who are missionaries here on the front lines of our families
David Meengs is an author, speaker, and counselor both here in MI and around the world. We’re excited to have him back to share God’s word in a no-nonsense approach for daily application.
Pastor Kevin Shoemaker (Capital City Vineyard Church, Lansing) is an engaging and down to earth communicator. He has spoken for his own church’s campouts at Michawana and we can’t wait to have him share with our broader Family Camp program this summer!
- Week 2: July 30 – Aug. 5
Pastor Jory Trim (Trinity Baptist, Grand Rapids) is no stranger to Michawana, and for good reason. His in depth knowledge paired with whit and ease of communication allows him to weave in deep truth for the mature christian while also helping younger and newer scholars take away truth and application that is simple and memorable. We love having Jory at camp and always have positive feedback from Family Campers of all ages!
Pastor Bob Porterfield (Ottawa Center Chapel, Coopersville) was made to preach God’s word! As a pastor and Bible Institute Instructor, Bob is able to unpack the meat of God’s Word. Bring your notebook and Bible, this isn’t nap-time, campers!
Grab lunch at the RV Concession Stand and pay per item with no need to sign up ahead.
Reserve dinner tickets ahead and eat full meals in the Dining Hall. ($7 kids, $8 adults) Pick and choose exactly which meals you would like before camp. Meal registration forms will be sent in the spring or after you register. Choose your meals and mail the form back at least two weeks in advance.
If you’d rather pass on ordering food, plan to bring food and prepare your own meals.
