Summer Camp

2024 Summer Theme

Whether it’s your character, the decisions you get the make, or the adventures you go on, playing games is fun! There are a lot of lessons we can learn about life from playing games. The difference with life and a game is that at the end of the game you can unplug or put it back in the box, but at the end of your life it’s not over… you will stand before God to give an answer for your choices and “adventures”.

Each day we will be looking at some lessons you can learn from games,  then dig into the greater truth that real life is MORE than a game because the stakes are higher, the score is final, and the outcomes are eternal.

Campers will discover that living for Jesus is not head knowledge or repeating a prayer and then doing whatever you want, it’s true life with  eternal impact.  Knowing the facts about what Jesus did is not the same as surrendering and following Him. When you put your faith in Jesus, your heart will change and the “plays” of your life will reflect it. We guarantee we’ll have a ton of fun doing it.

Scripture Focus: James 1:22 – “Do not merely listen to the Word and so deceive yourselves, do what it says!

Campers are housed according to age group and gender. Campers stay in a cabin with up to 8 campers and 1 or 2 counselors.

Mini Camp: Entering 1st – 3rd Grades
Mini Camp is a slice of a full week of camp, with a little of everything, and a lot of extra love. Swimming, slip’n’slide, swamp walk, and s’mores are just the beginning! With a smaller counselor to camper ratio, your tikes will feel comfortable and the three days will fly by and leave them wanting to come back.

Pals: Entering 4th-5th Grades
Zip-line, Pontoon Boat Rides, Buddy Games, Swamp Walk, Giant Slip-n-slide, Mud-pit, Hayrides, and choose your own skill hour are just a few of the ways a Pal can have fun! The best times are spent making memories with counselors and friends in a canoe or during cabin-time. Pals will sing fun camp songs, memorize verses and learn what it means to follow Jesus.

Pioneers Entering 6TH – 8TH Grades
Climbing wall, pioneer expedition across Long Lake, kayaks, Rifle Range, Bible escape caboose, Human Foosball, and fishing await our middle school friends. Speaking of friends, one of the best parts of camp is getting to meet other teens who want to live for God and make friendships for a lifetime.

Crusaders Entering 9th – 12th grades (must be under 18)
Inverted climbing wall, high-ropes course, archery tag, stand-up paddle boards, Bivouac camp out, knee-ball, cabbage ball(mud pit), & crusader games says it all. We take your week away seriously and make it worth the effort while we explore God’s Word.

Team Timothy (15 – 17 Year Old)
We accept a limited number of campers who have unlimited potential. Sessions typically have around 6 guys and 10 girls who stay for two weeks.  The weekend between is filled with team building, relaxing, and some “TT only” adventures!  Team Timothy is about learning to serve in the dish-pit, hands-on events training, and counselor shadowing.  Expect to do dishes after each meal (1-2 hours) and the opportunity to counselor shadow for a cabin of Pals.  TTers get afternoon free time to swim, go on high adventures, visit the Trading Post, etc.   Register and apply online for a chance to join this awesome program. Space is limited!

Many TTers go on to become Summer Staff when they turn 18.  There is also an option to work on the RV Program Team and earn a free session of TT during the same summer.  TTers can’t say enough good – they actually say doing the dishes is one of the best parts.  We see leaders form and develop through this amazing program!  Campers who excel can be invited back for a second session later in the summer (with a 50% discount).
